How to contribute
If you're interested in contributing to the field of decentralized identity, one good place to start is the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF). DIF is a consortium of companies and organizations working together to create a more secure, privacy-preserving, and convenient system of identity on the internet.
Here are some ways you can contribute:
Participate in a DIF Working Group: DIF has multiple working groups focused on different aspects of decentralized identity. You can participate in these working groups to contribute your expertise and work with others in the field. Some of the working groups include: Identity & Discovery, Secure Data Storage, Credentials & Claims, and more.
Contribute to DIF Repositories on GitHub: DIF maintains several open-source repositories on GitHub. You can contribute by submitting pull requests, reporting bugs, suggesting new features, or improving documentation. Here is the link to DIF's GitHub: https://github.com/decentralized-identity
Join DIF as a Member Organization: If you represent a company or organization, you can join DIF as a member. Member organizations contribute to the work of DIF and help shape its direction.
Engage in DIF's Community: You can join DIF's community calls and engage in discussions on various topics related to decentralized identity.

Remember, contributing to an open-source project or a community like DIF is not only about coding. There are many ways to contribute, including but not limited to, documentation, design, testing, taking part in discussions, helping with community outreach, and more. Everyone is welcome!
